About us
Hillside College Mityana (HILCOM) is a private secondary school in Mityana District, Uganda. It is a Christian-based institution that balances academic instruction with a strong emphasis on vocational skills and spiritual development. The campus is on Ttamu Hill, in Ttamu Division.

History
The school is widely known by the short name HILCOM. A public listing describes it as having started in 2003. Its own website presents it as a private Christian secondary school offering the Ugandan national curriculum at both UCE and UACE, with integrated vocational training. Uganda’s 2025 Baseline Education Census, published with the Ministry of Education and Sports, recorded 1,382 learners present on census day (607 male and 775 female). That is a census-day count, not a live enrolment figure. The same public record lists EMIS number 3A298039. Examination directories list UNEB centre U1929. Administrators should correct any detail that the school does not recognise.

The school’s published identity holds intellect, character, practical ability and spiritual development together. Learning is expected to form people who can serve, not only candidates who can sit an examination.
